SUPPORT LOCAL BUSINESS THIS CHRISTMAS FOR YOUR CHANCE TO WIN
The Star Shopper Competition kicks off again this year from Monday, 4 November. Griffith City Council is encouraging residents to support local businesses during the holiday season.From Tuesday, 4 November to Thursday, 12 December 2024, shop at participating Star Businesses and spend $15 or more to enter the prize draw. You could win a $500 first prize or five $100 vouchers at the businesses you supported.
Mayor Doug Curran emphasised the vital role that shopping local plays in sustaining the community’s economy.
“This initiative keeps money in the community and supports our local businesses. It’s a great way to spread Christmas cheer while giving back.”
“I encourage everyone to show their support by shopping at participating Star Businesses this Christmas,” Mayor Curran said.
To enter the competition, visit any business displaying the Star Business sticker or poster. For each purchase of $15 or more, you’ll receive an entry form—one entry per spend. The lucky winners will be drawn on Friday, 13 December 2024, just in time for Christmas.
