HAVE YOU HAD YOUR SAY ON THE FUTURE OF GRIFFITH?

Have you had your say on the future of Griffith yet?

With Phase 1 of face-to-face consultation for the review of Griffith’s Community Strategic Plan (CSP) due to wrap up later this month, those who haven’t shared their thoughts are being urged to do so now. The online option is available right up until the end of this year. Complete the "Your Vision, Our Future" Survey, available online: www.Griffith.nsw.gov.au/yoursay

Over the past 7 months Griffith City Council has been checking in with the community in a variety of ways including at community events, committee meetings and pop-up stalls. This feedback, as well as all other consultation carried out since the last revision of the CSP in 2022, will inform the “What Our Community Said” booklet, which will be presented to the new Council for review. Phase 1 face-to-face CSP engagement will wrap up at Council Café in the Kooyoo Street Kiosk on Thursday, 15 August 2024, 10am - 11.30am.

Phase 2 will commence in October once the new Council reviews all feedback.

The CSP is the highest-level plan that a council and its community will prepare. Its purpose is to identify the community's main priorities and aspirations for the future and to plan strategies for achieving these goals. In doing this, the planning process considers the issues and pressures that may affect the community and the level of resources that will realistically be available to achieve its aspirations.
