Griffith City Library has a fantastic line-up of activities for the upcoming school holidays.From creative arts and cultural celebrations to engaging games and fun workshops, there’s something for every child to enjoy. Join us for two weeks of creativity, learning, and fun!
Tuesday, 9 July - DIY Crown
Drop into the Library anytime between 10am and 12pm and craft your own crown. Choose between a paper plate crown or a wire/felt crown.
Wednesday, 10 July - NAIDOC Week Celebration
Celebrate NAIDOC Week with the Marrambidya Dance Group. Experience traditional dances and participate in cultural workshops designed for children. 10:30am – 1pm.
Thursday, 11 July - Make Your Own Scratch Art
Create your own scratch art masterpiece to take home. Drop in anytime between 10am and 12pm.
Monday, 8 July - Friday, 12 July - LEGO Room
Let your imagination run wild in our LEGO Room, open daily from 10am to 4pm.
Tuesday, 16 July - Mosaic Button Picture Frame
Decorate a photo frame with colourful buttons and other materials. Drop in anytime between 10am and 12pm.
Wednesday, 17 July - Bluey Day
Join us for a day of Bluey fun! Enjoy Bluey crafts, balloons for Keepy Uppy, and screenings of Bluey in the theatrette. Feel free to come dressed in your favourite Bluey costume. 10am-12pm.
Thursday, 18 July - Bean Mosaic Art
Create playful, modern bean and seed mosaics with bright shades of paint. Bookings are required for this session, which is strictly for ages 8 - 12 years.
Monday, 15 July - Friday, 19 July - Nintendo Room
Enjoy a week of gaming fun in our Nintendo Room, open daily from 10am to 4pm.
