Final Call Out For Citrus Sculpture Entries Time is running out for the chance to be involved in the Real Juice Company Citrus Sculptures as part of Griffith Spring Fest 2024.
Applications for new and returning sculptures are due by Monday 1 July 2024.
Griffith City Council Events Coordinator, Izabella Apolloni said, this year's display will feature a collection of captivating new sculptures currently in the planning stages, as well as much-loved classics making a comeback.
“We will also see some amazing new creations unveiled. So far, we have over 40 sculptures registered,” she said.
“If you’d like further information, please get in touch with the Griffith Tourism Team by either emailing events@griffith.com.au or giving us a call on 6962 8400.”
Construction day for the Real Juice Company Citrus Sculptures this year will be Sunday 13 October 2024, with dismantle taking place on Sunday 27 October 2024.
Griffith Spring Fest is Griffith’s flagship festival, incorporating the Griffith Garden Festival, Real Juice Company Citrus Sculptures, Launch Party and many other events that showcase everything our region has to offer.
Griffith Mayor, Councillor Doug Curran is encouraging businesses to get involved.
"It's an exceptional opportunity to gain exposure, particularly if your sculpture stands out as something unique," said Councillor Curran.
"Thousands of visitors flock to Griffith to witness the Real Juice Company Citrus Sculptures, an integral experience of Griffith Spring Fest. They capture photographs which are then extensively shared across social media platforms, reaching thousands of potential visitors for years to come."
The 2023 Griffith Spring Fest injected $23.5 million into the region, with over 83,000 people enjoying the Real Juice Company Citrus Sculptures over the two-week period. Of those, 47% were visitors and 53% locals.
