Griffith Regional Aquatic Leisure Centre's Swimming Carnival Season In Full Swing

Thursday, 08 Feb 2024

The Griffith Regional Aquatic Leisure Centre (GRALC) is making waves with swimming carnival season in full swing, as swimmers of all ages come together to compete, showcasing their skills and sportsmanship.
GRALC Manager, Craig Tilston, is thrilled to kick off the carnival season.
“It is fantastic to witness the community come together in such a positive and energetic way during our swimming carnival season, we’re excited to see so many individuals embracing the benefits of swimming, competing and supporting their mates," said Mr Tilston.
One highlight of this season is the significant surge in swim squad registrations. Whether you're a seasoned swimmer or looking to dip your toes into the world of aquatic fitness, the Centre has something for everyone.
"The increased interest in our swim squads is a testament to the inclusive and enjoyable environment we strive to create. Our swim squads cater to various skill levels, welcoming everyone from competitive swimmers to those seeking fitness and social connections. With the recent addition of divisions to our swim squad, we're thrilled to extend our program to older youth."
Due to the number of carnivals held during February, patrons are urged to contact the Centre for lane and pool availability. The swimming carnival timetable can be found on the Griffith Regional Aquatic Leisure Centre’s Facebook page.
For more information on Swim Squad or any inquiries about the Swim School, please contact Craig Tilston on (02) 6962 8261.
