Kate Miller-heidke Set To Dazzle Griffith With Her Catching Diamond Tour

Monday, 09 Sep 2024

Kate Miller-heidke Set To Dazzle Griffith With Her Catching Diamond Tour Award-winning singer-songwriter, and judge on The Voice 2024, Kate Miller-Heidke is bringing her highly anticipated Catching Diamonds Tour to Griffith Regional Theatre on Saturday 28 September 2024 from 7:30pm, as part of her massive national regional tour.
Known for her unique ability to blend folk, pop, opera, and musical theatre, Kate’s performances captivate audiences across the globe, from the stages of the New York Metropolitan Opera and Coachella to the Eurovision Song Contest and beyond.
After months of songwriting, Kate is ready to share her work with audiences in dozens of stunning theatres around Australia, including Griffith. Fans will enjoy her greatest hits, beloved pop songs, and tracks from her original musicals, Muriel’s Wedding the Musical and Bananaland.
Kate will also take requests, perform unexpected covers, and share stories from her diverse career. In an exciting addition, she will debut new material from her upcoming 6th studio album, which explores the genre of ‘gothic folk.’
This intimate, stripped-back performance will feature Kate’s long-time collaborator, Keir Nuttall, on guitar. While the Eurovision-famous bendy poles won’t make a physical appearance, they will be there in spirit, as Kate brings her blend of emotion, humour, and transcendent music to Griffith.
“Playing live has always been at the heart of what I do - I live for it,” says Kate. “I can’t wait to get back to some places I haven’t been in ages, and some I’ve never been to, and connect with my amazing audiences across Australia. Regional crowds are some of the greatest people to play for!”
Griffith Regional Theatre Manager, Marg Andreazza said “Audiences can expect a night of storytelling, emotion, humour and unique music. Whether you’re a long time Kate Miller-Heidke fan, or just a live music lover in general, you won’t want to miss this performance.”
With her genre-defying voice, captivating storytelling, and undeniable stage presence, the Catching Diamonds Tour promises a night of unforgettable music. Don’t miss the chance to see Kate Miller-Heidke live in Griffith, on Saturday 28 September 2024.
Tickets are $78.50 and can be purchased online at griffithregionaltheatre.com.au or by calling 02 6962 8444, or visit the Box Office.
