Operation Art

Operation Art is an annual exhibition celebrating its 29th Anniversary this year. These 50 artworks created by students across New South Wales will tour the state before finding their home at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead, where they will help make sick children feel better through the power of art.

Operation Art is an in initiative of The Children’s Hospital at Westmead in partnership with The NSW Department of Education. Join us for the opening of Operation Art, explore the exhibition and enjoy light refreshments.

Sensory Tours
The Gallery are offering sensory tour experiences through the duration of the Operation Art exhibition.
These tours have been developed to engage a range of participants' senses including sound, smell and touch accompanying the visual delights around them.
In these tours, participants will be taken on an adventure through new prospects the eye may not be able to see!
Tours will be available for the duration of the exhibition on weekdays from Monday 12 August to Friday 13 September. More information here.
