Celebrating 15 years and direct from a sell-out broadway season, Cirque Mother Africa returns to Australia in 2023 with an all new show featuring the amazing hand-to-hand balancing act as seen on Australia’s Got Talent performed by the Ramadhani brothers.

The heartbeat of Africa pulsates throughout this jaw-dropping show as the musicians and artists transport audience members to the breath-taking continent of Africa.  This 90-minute entertainment extravaganza combines the very best talent from nine African countries including Ethiopia, South Africa, Kenya and Tanzania to provide the wonder, suspense and joy that is Cirque Mother Africa.

Jackie, Elizabeth, Frances and Susan become besties at high school and find freedom in Swinging London a decade later. After that they carve out very different lives for themselves and don't see each other as often, but always meet up once a year for the ‘Musketeers' dinner’. But this year is different.

Past sixty, older but no wiser, the most radical member of the group is in crisis. To offer their support, the ‘Musketeers’ take Jackie back to her country home for a weekend – to relax and let their hair down. What could possibly go wrong? 

What follows tests their friendship, their morals and their courage as never before. And a final twist will change their lives forever. A tale of sea eagles and pole dancing, of children and childhood dreams, of religion and rock ‘n roll. Most of all this is a tale of friendships that have stood the test of time.

Two intertwining stories – one magical, the other all too real – bring two unlikely heroes to the stage in a new work inspired by the student-led  "Fridays for Future" protests of 2019. Black Sun / Blood Moon follows Maddy, a ten-year-old climate champion, and Katie, the underachieving assistant of a climate-denying politician, as they set out to save the planet.

When Paul unwittingly inspires his young daughter Maddy to take part in a school climate strike, their lives are turned upside down. Maddy’s journey will put her at increasing risk as she takes her message to the powers that be, while Katie will find herself on the back of eagles and dolphins as she attempts to fulfill a fantastical quest from the future.

Featuring stunning video and projection, and amazing life-size puppetry by Erth Visual and Physical, Black Sun / Blood Moon will delight families with young people 12 years and older.
