"I speak my own sins; I cannot judge another. I have no tongue for it."

The Crucible, by Arthur Miller, tells the story of a village that becomes embroiled in a witch hunt. The people of Salem live in a constant state of fear as more and more people are accused of witchcraft. Set in the strictly religious and isolated town of Salem, Massachusetts, the story develops around the witch trials and explores hypocrisy, suspicion, and mass hysteria of the local community. The Crucible examines the fragile nature of truth with each character balancing their own needs and desires.

Staged in the spectacular Cellar Door & Visitor Experience Centre at The Piccolo Family Farm, GRAPA presents this poignant production at a time when the world is battling with its own relationship with fear and truth. The Crucible features a wonderful local cast from Griffith, Leeton and Hillston with veteran performers joining fresh talent on stage!

MATURE THEMES: Audience discretion is advised. Show Dates Friday 11 November Saturday 12 November Thursday 17 November Friday 18 November Saturday 19 November All shows start at 6:30pm with an approx 2 hour run time. Food and drink will be available at all shows.
