SOUNDS OF AUTUMN A NIGHT OF FUN FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY

Residents from across Griffith and the surrounding area are invited to come together on Friday, 19 April at the Burley Griffin Community Gardens to kick off the new season with ‘Sounds of Autumn’, presented by Griffith’s Youth Advisory Group.

Sounds of Autumn will feature vibrant and captivating performances from young local artists, and musicians from the community. A variety of market stalls, arts and crafts, food vans and henna hand art will be provided, with a barbecue available, thanks to the Lions Club.

Community and Economic Development Officer, Ellie Andreazza, can’t wait to see the excitement that this event brings and encourages all youth and other residents of all ages to attend.

“We are thrilled to be able to bring to you Sounds of Autumn, as last year’s Sounds of Spring was such a hit! It is an amazing event where youth can come together not only to engage with the community and community events, but to also connect and socialise with one another,” she said.

“There will be a large array of activities that attendees can enjoy, with any youth that completes Griffith City Council’s Community Strategic Plan Survey having the opportunity to win one of five $100 gift vouchers.”

Admission to the Sounds of Autumn is free, making it accessible to all members of the community with the event starting at 4.30pm.

Mark your calendars, gather your friends and family, and get ready to sit back and enjoy the Sounds of Autumn.
