As part of Local Government Week we're proud to showcase what Griffith Pioneer Park Museum does for our community and some services we provide.

One Man’s Dream - 50 Years of Griffith Pioneer Park Museum

On 12 April 1971, the gates of Griffith Pioneer Park Museum opened, realising the dream of founder Charles Sharam, who, along with other volunteers, worked for several years to make his dream a reality. 50 years on, the Museum continues to live ‘One Man’s Dream’, preserving and sharing our region’s history. To mark this milestone, we would like to invite the community to join in our year-long celebrations, with a range of workshops, exhibitions, tours, and displays on offer throughout 2021. We hope you enjoy this video that was projected onto the water tank. Our first celebrations kicked off on Monday 5 April to Monday 12 April, future events will be listed on our website and Facebook Page.
