Local Favourite “starry” Returns To The Stage

Monday, 28 Oct 2024

Local Favourite “starry” Returns To The Stage Griffith Regional Theatre host former local Triple M Breakfast announcer Glenn "Starry" Starr on Sunday 17 November. This time, he’s back with his fan-favourite show, Hit Parade: The Unforgettable Hits of the 50s & 60s, for a special afternoon performance.

Theatre manager, Marg Andreazza said “After the overwhelming success of his Morning Melodies performance last year, we’ve heard your requests and are excited to welcome Glenn back for an even bigger and better show. This time, Starry will be joined by his full 7-piece band to deliver a spectacular 2-hour concert celebrating the best of the 1950s and 1960s.”

Since last performing in Griffith, the show has expanded its repertoire of timeless hits, including a tribute to the iconic TV shows of the 50s and 60s, and a full multimedia presentation to enhance the experience. This captivating show has been delighting audiences across Australia and around the world for over 10 years.

Get ready to relive the golden era of music with a carefully curated selection of songs and artists that will transport you back in time. From the unforgettable voices such as Bobby Vee, Gene Pitney, Neil Sedaka, and Del Shannon, to the classics of Gerry and the Pacemakers, Hit Parade reintroduces these beloved hits to a new generation of listeners. The show wouldn’t be complete without paying tribute to the biggest icons of the era, including Elvis Presley, Buddy Holly, and The Beatles.

Don’t miss out on this extraordinary tribute to the unforgettable music of the 50s and 60s!

Tickets available at www.griffithregionaltheatre.com.au or by calling 6962 8444 or visit the Box Office.
