NewAccess is a free service for people experiencing depression, anxiety and life stresses which involves up to 6 in-person or telephone sessions.
NewAccess is a free program developed by beyondblue and established in partnership with the Murrumbidgee Primary Health Network (MPHN) which aims to assist individuals experiencing mild to moderate anxiety, depression and life stresses. Examples of issues which can be assisted by our program include specific phobias, social phobia and agoraphobia, excessive worry, and grief and loss. Our program is available to individuals aged 16 years and older who live in the Murrumbidgee and Riverina. Participants do not require GP referrals or Mental Health Treatment Plans, and they do not have to be Australian citizens.
The Intereach NewAccess Coaches are trained to provide Low Intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and are committed to assisting people throughout the region. Our coaches are located in Griffith, Wagga Wagga and Deniliquin; but can assist individuals throughout the region via the use of telephone sessions.
